Dr. Ashok Bhanage

Senior neurosurgeon Dr. Bhanage is the director and head of the neurosurgery and radiosurgery departments and chair of the Cancer Centre. In 1984, Dr. Bhanage graduated from the University of Bombay with a degree in neurosurgery. He has completed over 30,000 major neurosurgeries to date.

His primary area of focus is neuro oncology. He has a strong reputation for producing excellent results and was in charge of establishing the Cancer Centre and the Radiosurgery Unit for X-ray treatment of brain tumours. He has authored several articles and given numerous presentations as a postgraduate teacher in neurosurgery.
