Dr. Sadanand Karandikar

Dr. Karandikar completed his graduation and postgraduation in medicine from GMC, Nagpur and medical oncology from TMH Parel, Mumbai. He is the senior most medical oncologist of this region barring Mumbai and has been practising since 1987. He is well known as a pioneer in medical oncology in Pune since 1987. He is trained in high-dose chemotherapy and stem cell transplantation at the MD Anderson Cancer Centre, Houston, Texas. He also has a PI for over 20 phase II and III randomised clinical trials. Dr. Karandikar has several publications, orations, and presentations at national and international meetings and journals under his wing.
